A 51-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 24 in Fall River, Massachusetts, late Tuesday night.

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office announced state police responded to the crash just after 10 p.m. at Exit 2, and arrived to find the motorcyclist on the grass near a highway crash barrier. His motorcycle was was in the median of the off ramp.

The man, identified as Scott Langlois, of New Bedford, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later, the DA's office said.

There's no word on what caused the fatal crash, but officials say it does not appear to be suspicious.

Traffic was diverted following the incident.
