WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a man was listed in critical condition after a late-night shooting in Wyoming.
Around 11:35 p.m. Tuesday, the Wyoming Police Department said it responded to the area of Charlesgate Avenue SW and 32nd Street SW for reports of gunfire.
When officers showed up, they found "evidence indicating that multiple shots had been fired" — but no victim.
Not long after, the Wyoming Police Department confirmed, a man who had been shot was located in Grand Rapids. He was taken to the hospital.
As of Wednesday morning, the man remained in critical condition, according to the police department.
No arrests were immediately made. Detectives are investigating.
