DANVILLE — The Edgewood girls soccer team got knocked down, by the wind and by Danville's physicality.

Thus the Mustangs had trouble maintaining possession and putting many balls on frame in a 4-1 loss at Danville on Tuesday, Oct. 7 in the opening round of their Class 2A Sectional.

The Warriors play a 3A heavy schedule and brought a rugged mentality to its match with Edgewood (11-3-1), a team that took last year's sectional meeting down to the wire.
