Actress and singer Ashley Park has been appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN World Food Programme.

The “Emily in Paris” star has a track record of championing food security around the world. She spearheaded a fundraising appeal for Sudan when the country faced famine, raising over $500,000 and over a million meals.

On World Food Day 2024, she joined WFP Goodwill Ambassador Michael Kors in a video informing people about the organization’s homegrown school feeding program and its impact on women farmers, children and communities. Most recently, she issued another fundraising appeal, this time to provide food to mothers and children facing malnutrition.
