Home-based child care is too often misunderstood and undervalued. It’s not babysitting — it’s early childhood education. Home-based providers are trained professionals, licensed small business owners and trusted partners in helping children learn, grow and thrive.

Our work is grounded in a holistic view of children and families, with programs that are deeply personal and intentionally designed. As Rosie Vazquez of Rossie’s Family Daycare in Solvay explains, “We have a curriculum and adapt it to different ages to support physical, cognitive and social-emotional development.
