The Blue Jays couldn’t get the job done in the Bronx on Tuesday night and now t he Yankees not only have some life , but they’ve outscored the Jays 16-7 over the last game and a half. Toronto could still send New York packing on Wednesday, though. Here’s what you need to know:

Game 4 preview

It will be a bullpen game for the Jays as they look to avoid going home for a winner-take-all Game 5. The relievers are all rested (enough) and ready, with no one having thrown more than 20 pitches on Tuesday night after an off-day Monday.

Neither Chris Bassitt nor Max Scherzer were included on the playoff roster, so this was the plan from the get-go, the Jays just hoped that they would be up two games to one if Game 4 came around, and at least that hope was fulfilled.
