TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- A proposed bill threatens to withhold funding from Florida colleges and universities if they do not rename campus roadways after slain conservative political commentator Charlie Kirk.
Florida Rep. Kevin Steele, a Republican from Dade City, filed HB-113 on Tuesday. It directs 40 public institutions to designate specific streets, or portions of them, as "Charlie James Kirk" Road, Avenue, Boulevard, etc.
