When the Detroit Tigers play the Seattle Mariners Wednesday, Oct. 8, fans can expect dry conditions, but they may want to grab a coat on the way to the game since it could be downright chilly by the time it ends.
The first pitch of the Tigers-Mariners game is set for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Comerica Park in downtown Detroit. The National Weather Forecast says it could be 62 degrees with partly cloudy skies and wind gusts up to 21 mph. After that, though, temperatures will fall through the evening.
By 5 p.m. the temperature is expected to drop to 60 degrees and it will be in the 50s by 6 p.m.
All of Michigan could see frost tonight as temperatures plummet into the 20s in many northern areas and into the 30s in parts of southern Michigan.
