The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service issued a health alert for certain ready-to-eat meals.

The meals were produced by FreshRealm and sold by the popular meal plan brands Blue Apron and Marley Spoon.

Cauliflower rice health alert

The following FreshRealm products are subject to the public health alert :

Reason for alert:

The problem was discovered when FreshRealm notified FSIS that the riced cauliflower used in these products tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes.

A recall was not requested because the products are no longer available for purchase, but a health alert was issued because the products may still be in customers’ refrigerators or freezers.
