ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) - The maker of multiple brands including Hoover, Oreck and Dirt Devil will move from Charlotte to Anderson in 2026.

Techtronic Industries Co. Ltd., announced on Wednesday plans to move its North American floorcare and cleaning appliance business, TTI Floorcare North America to Anderson.

The company's portfolio includes multiple name brands used by professional and household consumers. The company said in a news release the move "reflects TTI’s plan to accelerate disruptive innovation and leverage synergies between its consumer businesses."

The company said it has invested more than $500 million in South Carolina since 2019, and it currently employs over 1,500 people at an innovation center and warehouse in Anderson.
