MASON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A Kentucky sheriff was arrested Tuesday night on his third DUI charge since December 2023, along with official misconduct and other charges, after allegedly driving at extremely high speeds while displaying flashing blue lights.

Robertson County Sheriff Terry Gray, 48, of Mount Olivet, was cited on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence first-degree, speeding 26 mph or more over the limit, wanton endangerment first-degree and official misconduct first-degree.

According to the citation, law enforcement received a call about a white pickup truck traveling at an extremely high rate of speed with flashing blue lights on U.S. 68. The vehicle was observed by multiple agencies, including Robertson County Sheriff’s deputies. Gray was wearing a sheriff
