NEW YORK (PIX11) – Not one, but two affordable housing lotteries in New York City are offering rent less than $700.
At least 16 available units inside One Sunset, a multifamily apartment building in Brooklyn, are priced at $649 per month. The building includes amenities like a community kitchen, gym, game room, library, roof deck, pet spa, storage and parking.
Pets are also allowed at One Sunset, according to the listing on NYC Housing Connect. Tenants are required to pay for electricity and heating, but the rent includes hot water.
To qualify for $649 rent, applicants must be making at least $28,766 and up to $43,740, depending on household size. The asset limit is $48,600.
