TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Town of Oro Valley has secured nearly $145,000 from Arizona State Parks to improve accessibility and safety at the Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve. The grant will fund critical repairs and upgrades to the 6.2-mile trail system, addressing issues that have developed over time.

“You’ll see some broken and heaved areas as you go along the trail over time. There’s been some settling, some movement due to weather,” said Rosalyn Epting, Oro Valley Parks and Recreation Director.
