Maryland state leaders visited Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport to support federal workers amid the ongoing federal government shutdown.

Some travelers across the country are starting to feel the impact of the shutdown amid air traffic controller staffing issues leading to delays at airports. Delays have been reported in major cities like Houston, Newark, Las Vegas, Nashville and Boston.
