The Bombay High Court on Wednesday ruled that actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra cannot undertake leisure trips abroad amid an ongoing investigation. The court further stipulated that if Shetty intends to travel overseas for work purposes, she must deposit Rs 60 crore as a precondition.
The matter came up during the hearing of their plea seeking suspension of a Look Out Circular (LOC), presided over by Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam A. Ankhad. The bench clearly stated, “We can’t permit you for these purposes. We can’t permit you for leisure trip.”
