Police have launched a public appeal for information after a passenger was racially abused on a bus in Stockport .

Officers say they would like to speak to the man pictured above saying 'we believe he may have information to help the investigation'.

GMP Stockport say the male 'became aggressive to a passenger and became verbally abusive' during the incident on September 30.

In a public appeal, a spokesperson for the police unit said: "We are appealing for help in identifying the man pictured below.

"The incident was on the 312 bus on Schools Hill, Stockport at 10.10am on 30/09/2025 when a male became aggressive to a passenger and was verbally abusive."

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference number CRI/06JJ/0019444/25.
