Srinagar, Oct 8: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair a high-level meeting in New Delhi on Thursday to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, sources said.
The meeting aims to enhance synergy between security agencies and review ongoing counter-terror operations across the Union Territory, sources said, adding that Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and top officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Intelligence Bureau, Army, CRPF, BSF, and Jammu & Kashmir Police are expected to attend.
Top J&K officials, including the Chief Secretary and other senior officers reached Delhi this evening to participate in the meeting.
