Bondi defends DOJ's controversial moves, blames Democrats for government shutdown

Attorney General Pam Bondi testified before Congress for the first time since her confirmation hearing earlier this year, and repeatedly sparred with Democrats questioning the direction of the Justice Department. The Attorney General sat in front of members of Congress and defended a number of controversial moves taken by the department during her tenure. She went on offense against Democrats and blamed the party for the current government shutdown.
