A new smokehouse restaurant and taproom, Coalhouse - Brew & Que, is set to open its doors in Cheltenham this autumn.

It will focus on locally sourced smoked meats, independent brews and live-fire cooking and is the brainchild of chef-restaurateur Lewis Spencer and co-owner Jay Rahman of JM Socials .

The new restaurant will be at the former Mayflower site in Clarence Street, which closed earlier this year, and is scheduled for a soft launch on Friday, October 17.

An exclusive launch party, inviting family, friends and wider network to preview the restaurant, is also planned for Thursday, October 16.
