The presidential convoy of Ecuador’s Daniel Noboa, was attacked on Thursday, in what the country's Energy Minister, Ines Maria Manzanois, called an assassination attempt. A crowd was seen throwing rocks at the car as Noboa drove to an event. The government claims the car also shows signs of damage from bullets. The attack comes amid ongoing protests across the country.
