Kyle Connor has signed the richest deal in Winnipeg Jets history.

The former Michigan forward inked an eight-year, $96 million extension ($12 million AAV) on Wednesday which begins in 2026-27. The star winger has one year remaining on his current deal with a $7.14 million cap hit.

With the salary cap continuing to rise and Connor’s consistent production on the ice, Wednesday’ big-money extension was no surprise. The Shelby Township native has 284 goals and 582 points in 613 career games since entering the NHL. He has scored 30 or more goals in seven of his eight full NHL seasons and has surpassed the 40-goal mark in two of his past four campaigns.
