In a major breakthrough against drug trafficking, the Counter Intelligence (CI) Wing of Punjab Police has recovered 5.15 kg heroin, Rs, 29.16 lakh drug money, two mobile phones, and a motorcycle, besides nabbing two drug smugglers.

While divulging details, SSP Bhupinder Singh said that under the directions of Chief Minister Punjab and DGP Punjab Police, a sustained crackdown is underway across the district to eradicate drugs and take strict action against anti-social elements.
