Chitradurga, Oct 8: The government is organising several training programmes to ensure that every Sanjeevini group becomes self-reliant, said Gayatri, project director of Chitradurga district panchayat.

The four-day second phase training for the annual action plan of the model Shri Bharataambe Sanjeevini group at the village panchayat level began on Wednesday at the Babburu krishi vigyan kendra, under the aegis of the national livelihood mission, skill development, entrepreneurship and livelihood department, Chitradurga district panchayat, and Hiriyuru taluk panchayat. Resource persons from the Bengaluru and Mysuru divisions were also part of the demonstration sessions.
