Country singer-songwriter Zach Bryan broke his silence over a controversy circulating across MAGA world and the White House.

On his Instagram account, Bryan had posted a snippet of an unreleased song, titled “Bad News,” on Friday, with the caption, “The fading of the red white and blue.”

The clip included the lyrics: “I heard the cops came, cocky motherfuckers, ain’t they?/ And ICE is gonna come bust down your door/ Try to build a house, no bills no more, well I got a telephone/ Kids are all scared and all alone.”

While the song’s tease was immediately met with backlash by conservatives, who argued that Bryan took sharp aim at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids, officials in President Donald Trump’s administration also jumped on the criticism.
