Bombardier plans to create a 64,500-square-foot Fort Wayne Service Centre that will mean 100 jobs within the next few years.
The company made the announcement today during a news conference at Fort Wayne International Airport, which Gov. Mike Braun, Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker and other officials attended.
The center is part of Bombardier's previously announced multi-phase, large-scale U.S. expansion initiative and will "strengthen customers' ability to access exceptional service and support," a news release said.
Once fully operational, the Fort Wayne facility will offer hangar space able to accommodate up to six aircraft.
