Police are investigating the death of a man found bound, gagged and wearing an electronic ankle monitor on the floor of a Bridgeport apartment Tuesday night.
Around 6:30 p.m., a 27-year-old man returned from work to his three-bedroom apartment in the 1000 block of West 31st Street to find the man lying face down on the kitchen floor, according to police reports obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times.
The victim’s arms and legs were bound with rope and wire, and his head was wrapped in a blanket, according to the reports. A piece of clothing was found shoved in his mouth, and an electronic monitor was attached to his ankle, the report said.
