Australia ODI and Test captain Pat Cummins and star batter Travis Head have rejected a $10 million annual deal to quit Australian cricket and play in overseas T20 leagues full-time. The two stalwarts of the Australian national team were reportedly offered the big deal from an IPL team group but politely rejected the offer to remain firmly committed to their national commitments.

According to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald, both players’ management refrained from commenting on the development. Australia’s top stars earn $1.5 million through their annual contracts while Cummins earns about $3 million after taking his captaincy stipend into account.
