“It’s taken a couple of years, but, now that I’m here, it feels good,” said Jovanovski, who will be in Windsor on Thursday when the Storm face the Windsor Spitfires at the WFCU Centre.

How it started

Jovanovski, who is no relation to former Spitfire great Ed Jovanovski, backstopped the Sun County Panthers to the OHL Cup in 2023.

Guelph would make him the 13 th goalie taken in that year’s OHL Draft with the 134 th pick, but it was more than a year later before he finally signed with the Storm.
