A police officer has been found guilty of assaulting a 15-year-old girl who allegedly tried to skip barriers at a London train station.

CCTV captured the moment PC Adrian Young, 48, tackled the ‘much smaller’ schoolgirl putting her in a headlock for 30 seconds.

The British Transport Police officer shoved her back through the barriers and grabbed her by the throat to slam her into a ticket machine.

Commuters expressed their concern as PC Young handcuffed and arrested the child.

The girl was quickly de-arrested at Camden Road Overground station. After a one-day trial at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, PC Young, was found guilty of assaulting the teenager on 22 September last year.
