Things aren’t great around the New York Giants wide receiver room.

The Giants’ receiving corps was probably best described as “fine, but thin” at the start of the season. Then the Giants lost Malik Nabers to a torn ACL in Week 4 and Darius Slayton to a hamstring injury in Week 5. To make matters worse, neither Jalin Hyatt nor Beaux Collins looked like they could possibly cash in on their opportunities.

It’s enough to make us ask: Should the Giants take a flier on (now former) Tennessee Titans receiver Treylon Burks?

The Titans formally released Burks from their injured reserve on Tuesday afternoon, ending his tumultuous and disappointing tenure in Tennessee. The Titans drafted Burks in the first round (18th overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft. He was intended to be the replacement for A.J. B
