The Utah Jazz will play their debut preseason game against the Houston Rockets. However, the franchise faced an unexpected setback, as their key player, Lauri Markkanen, may miss the game. After a promising EuroLeague knock, where Markkanen dominated on the court, the whole league witnessed his greatness. Unfortunately, the 28-year-old suffered a left wrist contusion that limits his time in the league.

Markkanen’s on-court excellence in the EuroLeague made his trade value even stronger. However, he missed time in training camp and did not play in the team’s recent scrimmage. Several teams showed interest, and the Jazz seems reluctant to their position in the depth.
