ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions have placed cornerback Khalil Dorsey on injured reserve, and signed Dan Skipper to the main roster.

Dorsey’s move to injured reserve was expected, as the Lions said he would be miss an extended period. The depth cornerback missed last week’s game with a wrist/concussion issue. He will not miss at least the next four games, delivering a blow to the cornerback and to special teams.

One move that wasn’t made that’s worth noting is that cornerback Terrion Arnold avoided injured reserve. It’s been an up-and-down ride through the last 48 hours with Arnold. Dan Campbell said the second-year cornerback would miss “a long time.”
