A Connecticut man was charged with murder in the shooting death of his parents earlier this week in Waterbury, officials said Wednesday.
Javian Adams, 25, is accused of fatally shooting his father, Marc Adams, 55, and his mother, Carlene Williams, 51, at her Waterbury home late Monday night. Officials said Marc Adams did not live at the residence.
Waterbury police discovered the victims when responding to the 100 block of Beverly Avenue around 11 p.m., Chief Fernando Spagnolo said at a press conference Wednesday morning.
Both had been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene , Spagnolo said.
After investigators identified Adams as a suspect, police obtained an arrest warrant charging him with murder with special circumstances, murder during the commission of a felony, criminal us
