Pistons' former 1st-round pick retires after 2 decades in pro basketball

An impressive basketball journey has officially come to an end.

Carlos Delfino has officially called an end to his playing career, according to Eurohoops .

Delfino, 43, was the No. 25 overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons .

He played the first three seasons of his NBA career in Detroit, averaging 4.4 points per game.

He then spent a year with the Toronto Raptors , putting up 9.0 points per game.

After a year away in Russia, Delfino came back to put up 10.6 points per game across three seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks .

His last NBA season was 2012-13 with the Houston Rockets , when he also scored 10.6 points per game.
