After America went through a stressful 24 hours fretting over the health of Dolly Parton , the beloved country music legend took to social media herself to dispel any rumors with her trademark candor, telling her fans, “I ain’t dead yet!”

The kerfuffle began when one of Parton’s younger sisters, Freida Parton , wrote a Facebook post on Tuesday saying she was “up all night praying for my sister, Dolly,” which likely caused more panic that it would have otherwise because Parton had just postponed her Las Vegas concerts because she was “dealing with some health challenges.”
