GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - San Francisco and former Florida kicker Eddy Piñeiro earned NFC Special Teams Player of the Week following his standout performance in the team’s Week 5 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

The veteran was perfect on the day, converting all four of his field goal attempts (from 37, 20, 59 and 41 yards) and both of his extra point tries.

His accuracy and consistency helped San Francisco earn a win in the divisional matchup, as the 49ers remained unbeaten in the NFC West with a statement victory over the Rams.
