EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and the Las Cruces Police Department (LCPD) encourages the community to remain vigilant and up to date on the best practices for online safety.
“Cybersecurity is more than an IT issue – it’s a public safety and economic security priority," according to the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
LCPD said being cybersecure should be a priority for businesses, governmental entities, and everyone who uses online platforms and IT devices.
