CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — A 42-year-old Clarksburg has been sentenced to over 11 years in federal prison for his role in a drug conspiracy that was halted by the Greater Harrison Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force.
Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh sentenced Randy Joe Jones to 136 months of incarceration on Wednesday. Kleeh credited Jones with time served since July 15, 2024.
Once he's released from prison — sometime in the 2030s since there's no parole in the federal system — Jones will have to serve three years of supervised release.
The government alleged Jones and others were working together to sell methamphetamine in Harrison County.
