A man riding a bicycle was killed in a crash in Neptune on Monday evening, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said Wednesday.

Police responded to the area of Corlies Avenue and South Main Street for a report of a crash involving a bicyclist and a motor vehicle at 7:05 p.m.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, the prosecutor’s office said.

The crash remains under investigation by the prosecutor’s office, the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team and the Neptune Township Police Department.
