CHARDON, Ohio — Geauga County residents can ride Geauga Transit for free to cast their ballots during the upcoming general election.

Through the county’s Vote & Ride program, Geauga Transit will provide complimentary transportation to polling places on Election Day, Nov. 4, as well as to the Geauga County Board of Elections for early voting.

Early voting is now open and runs through Nov. 2 at the Board of Elections office, 12611 Ravenwood Drive, Suite 004, in Chardon.

Polling locations across Geauga County will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. In-person voting is not available at the Board of Elections on Nov. 4.
