A Loveland man who was accused of attempted murder after a series of drive-by shootings accepted a plea deal Sept. 25 and faces up to 15 years in prison.
Robert Jacobs, 20 , pleaded guilty in 8th Judicial District Court in Fort Collins to three amended felony counts — criminal attempt to commit second-degree murder, aggravated retaliation against a witness and illegal discharge of a firearm.
He was arrested Nov. 10, 2024, along with a 17-year-old, after the Loveland Emergency Communication Center received a call about a drive-by shooting in the 1000 block of East Fifth Street. A second call in the 14000 block of Platte Street reported what sounded like multiple gunshots shortly after.
