STATEWIDE -- Maine is approaching Peak Foliage conditions heading into the holiday weekend.

Maine Fall Foliage spokesperson Gale Ross says vibrant Fall Colors are unfolding across the state, especially in central, coastal and Southern regions where not as many leaves have fallen.

She says it’s an ideal time for Leaf-Peeping enthusiasts to plan Outdoor Adventures and the many Fall events happening around the state over the next couple of weeks before Foliage passes its peak.
