DETROIT — There isn’t time or necessity for big speeches, for wild adjustments or any sort of miracle.

The Detroit Tigers are facing elimination from the postseason in Game 4 of the American League Division Series against the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday.

To the clubhouse, all that means is to keep up the energy and the focus that brought them to the postseason in the first place and try to be the team that won 87 games in the regular season and 46 at their home field.
