MASONTOWN, W.Va. (WV News) — A 19-year-old Ohio man wanted for aggravated murder by the Cleveland (Ohio) Police Department was arrested Wednesday in Preston County.

Waymon Donat was taken into custody around 2 p.m. at a residence in the 1200 block of Cales Road, Masontown, by the U.S. Marshals Service Mountain State Fugitive Task Force. The arrest was made without incident outside the residence.

The West Virginia task force had been informed by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force that Donat was staying in the Morgantown area. Investigators positively identified Donat living near the Cales Road loaction.

Donat is alleged to have been involved in a shootout with other subjects April in Cleveland. During the shootout, a round struck an individual driving a vehicle, and the victim
