CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) - Police are investigating an incident that left a victim injured on Monday.

On October 6, just before 6 p.m., officers with the Carbondale Police Department were called to the 200 block of W. Main Street for a report of a robbery.

Officers learned that three suspects beat up a victim and stole their belongings during a dispute in the 100 block of N. Washington St.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers found one of the suspects, identified as 33-year-old Marquis A. McNary of Carbondale.

McNary was arrested for mob action, aggravated battery and robbery. He is currently being held at the Jackson County Jail pending a detention hearing.
