CHICAGO, Ill. (WTVO) — Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker called President Donald Trump "demented" and "literally unhinged" on Wednesday, responding to Trump's call for the governor to be jailed with, "Come and get me."

The president posted a message to Truth Social saying, “Chicago Mayor should be in jail for failing to protect [U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement] Officers! Governor Pritzker also!”

The state of Illinois and the City of Chicago have sued to prevent the deployment of National Guard members to the city in support of Department of Homeland Security agents who have clashed with protesters while enforcing immigration law.
