Police are seeking information on an investigation after a vehicle fled the scene of a collision on the Trans-Canada Highway in Mill Bay in September.

On Sept. 28, 2025, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Shawnigan Lake RCMP responded to a collision between two vehicles at the intersection of Trans-Canada Highway and Nightingale Road.

Early information gathered at the scene revealed that a grey Mazda 3 was travelling northbound on the Trans-Canada when a white Mercedes Benz SUV, also travelling northbound collided with the Mazda 3. The impact caused the Mazda 3 to spin and hit a light pole and roll onto its passenger side.
