Denise Richards broke down in tears as she testified against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, and claimed his actions led to her daughter being unable to go to church, Us Weekly can report.

On Wednesday, October 3, Richards, 54, who was granted a temporary restraining order on July 17, took the stand for a third day as she fights to obtain a long-term restraining order against Phypers, 53. (Phypers denies all allegations of abuse).

In court, Richards admitted that she called Phypers on September 2, even though the restraining order was in place. She claimed she needed to tell him about issues with their landlord. Richards moved out of their marital home in 2023 and into her own townhome, and Phypers and his family have lived there ever since.
