Sandy Springs will be reimbursed for the $76,060 it cost to demolish a marijuana grow house on Kitty Hawk Drive and will get a share of the proceeds from the sale of the house.
The Sandy Springs City Council approved City Manager Eden Freeman’s request to to sell the property for $650,000 at 4804 Kitty Hawk Drive during its Oct. 7 meeting.
“In June of 2023, this property first came to our awareness as it was a major marijuana grow house that the Sandy Springs Police Department had identified,” Freeman said.
