Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman says he has been "surprised" by Birmingham City's lack of creativity but feels a permanent move for Patrick Roberts would depend on the fee.

Blues have yet to hit full throttle following their return to the Championship having won three, drawn three and lost three of their opening nine games.

But their goals for column has sparked some concern with Blues finding the net on just eight occasions, the joint third lowest in the Championship.

Birmingham signed Roberts ahead of the deadline to improve their creative output and the on-loan Sunderland man has one goal and one assist so far.
